COVID 19 UPDATE & DAY OF INFORMATION

We are so excited to see you all this Saturday, September 26th for this year's University of Okoboji Oktoberfest! In an effort to continue to respect and abide by the ongoing COVID-19 guidelines set forth by Governor Reynolds, we have a few important updates we'd like to share.
Prior to Saturday's Event:
For those interested in picking up their t-shirts and drink tickets before Saturday, these items will be available at the *IGLA Chamber office.
*behind Casey's/across from Los Pueblos
Wednesday, 9/23 and Thursday, 9/24 from 9:00am until 5:00pm
Friday, 9/25 from 9:00am until 3:00pm
On the Day of the Event:
The keg-tapping ceremony will be held around 12:00pm rather than as the official "start" of the bike ride.
To allow for a more socially-distant, staggered start to the ride, we encourage bikers to start their ride around West Lake as soon as they check-in. Bikers do not need to wait for an official "kick-off" to the event.
To allow for proper adherence to social distancing guidelines and recommendations:
  • Event spaces will be set up further apart and utilize more of the overall green space.
  • Tables will be spaced 6' apart throughout the green space. We kindly ask that guests leave tables where they are placed.
  • Masks may be required while in bar areas and/or beer tents.
  • Hand sanitizer and masks will be available.
This is going to be an amazing, fun-filled, family-friendly event. We encourage groups to stay together and respect the areas and spaces around others.
